Rotherwick Herd of Pedigree Aberdeen Angus

The Herd was originally established in 1999 as the Hazeley Herd, changing its name to the Rotherwick Herd in 2007, when it moved to its current location. We have carefully selected female Angus from British and North American bloodlines, both locally and from pedigree sales, including Perth. They are serviced by leading sires using AI to produce calves with attributes from both parents.

We aim for our herd of Aberdeen Angus to thrive within the farm itself; they run on water meadows during the summer months, and in winter are fed home-grown silage and straw, with limited concentrates. The resulting cattle rear calves well and are relatively docile. In order to show case our cattle and promote the breed we regularly attend local and national shows, with a number of notable successes.

We usually have females and bulls available for sale and please do not hesitate to
contact should you have any requirements. Visitors are always welcome by appointment.
